Basic income guarantee

Basic income guarantee is the promise that every individual automatically receives enough monetary payment from the government for basic survival without the expectation of receiving service compensation in return. This opens up the opportunity for each person to contribute according to his/her ability and readiness and allows individuals to pursue their unique endeavors in learning and experiencing.

“Peer production is highly dependent on the market for peer production produces use-value through mostly immaterial production, without directly providing an income for its producers. Participants cannot live from peer production, though they derive meaning and value from it...”
